The Beginner Wine Kit

The beginners’ wine kit has everything you’ll need to improve your wine tasting and wine drinking experience.

To start the experience, you’ll need to open the wine.  Most of the wine you’ll discover will have a cork and to help with opening those bottles, we’ve included the Rabbit Vertical Corkscrew.  This tool will do the job quickly and with minimal effort.

However, that said, there are some really great wines that use a screw top and you’ll learn more about them as you explore.

Next the Waterfall Decanter will aerate and decant an entire bottle of wine with a dramatic, hands-free cascade in less than 2 minutes.

Decanting just about any wine seems to make it taste better.  This process adds air to the wine which enhances the wine’s natural flavors as you let the wine “breath” for a short period of time before drinking.

Finally, during your wine experience, you are going to hear someone say, “wine tastes better in some glasses than it does in others”.

Many times that discussion will include Riedel glassware.  That’s why we included 2 of the Riedel Performance Series Cabernet glasses.  The design of these glasses combines varietal-specific bowls and a unique optical effect to highlight every aroma and subtle nuance of fine wine.
